Ohio Photographer Earns Craftsman Degree

Danica Barreau of Pouka Art & Photography recognized for helping to advance the photography industry

Grove City, Ohio - Danica Barreau, M.Photog.M.Artist.Cr., CPP, APAI, of Pouka Art & Photography in Grove City has earned the Photographic Craftsman degree from Professional Photographers of America (PPA). The degree was presented to Mrs. Barreau by PPA President Mary Fisk-Taylor, M.Photog.Hon.M.Photog.M.Wed.Photog.Cr., CPP, ABI, API, EA-ASP, and her sponsor and friend, Ellen Zangla, M.Photog., CPP, at the association’s annual convention, Imaging USA, held in National Harbor, MD, on January 17, 2022.

This degree is not merely a piece of paper and a medallion. It means that Mrs. Barreau has met the standards of excellence set by PPA. She has been awarded the Photographic Craftsman degree in recognition of her service to the photographic profession as an orator, author, and mentor. In 2022, she was was of only 52 recipients.

Mrs. Barreau’s degree — and all the expertise it requires — illustrates her accomplishments and talent as one of a select few.
