With over 200 commissioned pet portraits completed, Danica Barreau brings years of experience and artistic training to every project. A PPA Master Artist and Certified Professional Photographer, Danica has been creating custom artwork through Pouka Art & Photography since 2006, producing heirloom-quality portraits that honor the animals we love.
Each portrait is created through a hybrid process that blends modern digital artistry with classic hand-applied acrylic brushwork on canvas. This approach allows for careful refinement of detail, followed by visible texture and depth that brings the finished artwork to life.
