Master of Photography
In January of 2020, I received my Master of Photography Degree from the Professional Photographers of America. I started this journey in 2016, competing in my first International Photographic Competition and earning a few exhibition merits. My Artist work was much stronger and I struggled for a few years to consistently produce good portraits. I finally found my rhythm with low-key soft light. Merit images earned my a single merit each, loan image earn two merits. To be eligible for Master of Photography Degree, you must have 13 exhibition merits and 12 “other” merits (more exhibition merits, artist merits, service merits, speaking merits). Below are the ten images that earned me the required merits.
