Traditional Framing
Available with a curated selection of traditional frames offered through my professional print lab. Frame options are selected after your portrait design is finalized.
Old World - The most ornate frames, with decorative detailing and antique-inspired finishes. These are for portraits that call for a little grandeur, creating the feel of a traditionally framed painting.
Contour - A wooden frame with a smooth, curved profile and subtle surface texture. Its understated shape gives your portrait a soft, clean border. Wood, 2.48″ wide.
Heritage Plus - A substantial wooden frame with a deep, wide recess and traditional moulding details. The layered profile draws the eye inward toward your portrait. Wood, 3.31” wide.
Deco - A wide, sculptural frame with layered curves and a raised profile. Its smooth satin finish gives the portrait a bold setting with vintage character. 3.74″ wide.
Gosford - Inspired by 1930s design, Gosford combines fine lines with a recessed curve. Its broad wooden profile brings structure and a little vintage glamour. Wood, 4.21″ wide.
Cambridge - A relatively narrow frame with a gently scooped profile and two-tone metallic finish. It adds a decorative edge without creating a heavy border. 1.46″ wide.
Cambridge Plus - A wider version of Cambridge, with the same scooped profile and two-tone metallic finish. It gives your portrait a more substantial decorative surround. 2.13″ wide.
Linea - A flat frame with a fine hatched texture and warm bronze finish. Its straight lines offer a contemporary feel, with texture adding interest. 2.36″ wide.
Regency - A classic wooden frame with two raised edges and an aged finish. Its defined borders give the portrait a tailored, traditional setting. Wood, 2.76” wide.
Oxford Plus - A broad frame with a contrasting inner border, subtle texture, and a softly matte surface. Its clean lines suit both traditional and contemporary rooms. 3.03″ wide.
Winchester - A broad, gently curved frame with an aged finish. Its simple shape offers a traditional look without elaborate ornament. 3.54″ wide.
Coastal - A rustic frame with pronounced wood-effect texture. Its weathered appearance works well in casual spaces with natural materials and relaxed finishes. 2.44″ wide.
Natural Contour Large - A wooden frame with raised lines, a contoured profile, and a rustic finish. It adds natural texture while keeping the overall look simple. Wood, 2.60″ wide.
Thatch - A raised outer edge, fine linear detailing, and an aged finish give Thatch a textured, timeworn appearance. A good fit for relaxed traditional interiors. 3.35”.
These are the traditional framing options I currently offer. If none feels right for your space, I recommend ordering the unframed canvas panel, which you can take to a local framer. That will give you a much wider selection and allow you to see the mouldings in person.
