This September, I'll once again have the privilege of judging the Photography Show at Grove City's Arts in the Alley.

I'm just back from the Professional Photographers of Ohio convention, still catching my breath. A look back at the weekend, the people, and an image competition that ended with Artist of the Year.

A few weeks ago I drove to Lovettsville, Virginia to co-teach one of our Hybrid Artist workshops with Judy Reinford. This one was a little different.

It's been a whirlwind two weeks, and I'm thrilled to finally be back in the studio! On my way to teach a workshop in Pennsylvania, I made an exciting stop in NYC.

While my 8x10 and 11×14 fine art prints are printed on archival paper and sealed with a top-tier UV + hydrophobic coating, some thoughtful care will help keep them vibrant for years to come.

I think he'd be proud that I'm still showing up, still creating, still trying. And still remembering.

I wouldn’t have done any of this without him.

A Painting Filled with Love—and Stardust

When I received an email from a local couple asking about a custom painting, I had no idea it would become one of the most extraordinary projects I've ever taken on. Their vision? A playful, classic scene reminiscent of the famous dogs-playing-poker image, but featuring their six beloved dogs who had passed: Daphne, Abby, Rocco, Toby, Bridget, and Hayden.

As a devoted English Setter owner and artist, attending the ESAA National Specialty is always a highlight of my year. This year’s event was particularly special—not only was it just a short drive from home, but it also marked a significant milestone for my business.

For digital painting, the clear gels are used on top of the printed images to provide a 3D texture of brush strokes to create a one-of-a-kind mixed media art piece.
